Who doesn’t love a brand new box of crayons?

Unfortunately I have loved too many boxes of crayons at the beginning of each school year and recently found I had amassed a regrettable amount.

The start of a new school year stirs up memories of shopping trips with my mom. Plaid seems to be the theme of my memories. My memories of returning to school as a child and as a homeschooling mom for 24 years are all fond ones. Back to School gets my juices going for some fall wall décor, stacks of spiral notebooks of every color, and crayons and pencils galore.

To quote the movie You’ve Got Mail, “I would send you a newly sharpened bouquet of pencils if I knew your address.”

Instead of pencils, how would you like it if I sent you a box full of Back-to-School gifts? This month I’m offering a giveaway full of items that will delight and help you from running to the store for one more box of unneeded crayons. Check out the giveaway details at the end of this post.

As a homeschooling mom, I always had grand plans at the beginning of every school year. Sometimes I followed through, and not so much other times, but planning always gave me a great start to the school year.

Here are a few Back-to-School lists that will help you start your school year right.

Start your year off on the right foot and have all your back-to-school memories be fond ones.
